About Me

In high school, Nidsa completed her nursing assistant certification and knew she was a natural in providing patient care. In 2005, Nidsa graduated from Georgia Southern School of Nursing with her B.S.N degree, but she did not stop there.  While working full-time as a critical care nurse, Nidsa completed her master's degree in 2012. Graduating from Armstrong State University with her Master Science in Nurse-Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Adult Health was a life-long dream and goal of hers.

As an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Nidsa is qualified to provide primary care and urgent care for patients ages 13 and older.  Providing a caring, safe and cost-effective health care for all patients has been one of her professional achievements. Critical care thinking and empowerment in caring for patients was embedded early on during her career as a critical care nurse.

Caring for patients and families holistically, physically, mentally and socially has been essential and utilized in her everyday practice. Daily she applies her advanced assessment skills, critical diagnostic reasoning, and decision-making to plan, treat, and evaluate patients who experience health deviations.

Most importantly, there is never a moment where Nidsa have not provided an educational experience for her patients and families in disease prevention and treatment options.  Also, she encourages and supports patients to self-managed their chronic diseases.

Being in this profession, she will always appreciate and look forward to new opportunities for personal and professional growth and development. She stays abreast of present and future issues and changes in health care. Researching and learning new guidelines, recommendations and evidence-based practices are essential to her practice.

Nidsa is an ambitious and passionate individual with experience in nursing at an advanced level, who is eager to broaden of her profession in patient care, consultant, education and quality improvement.
